The Britsh Larder make use of modern cooking techniques and these duck legs are slow cooked using a water bath instead of being slow cooked submerged in duck fat. The benefits are that you get a healthier but just as tasty and tender result. The duck legs are marinated prior cooking with garlic, fresh hardy garden herbs such as thyme and bay, black peppercorns, coriander seeds and star anise. To cook place the duck legs on parchment paper on a baking tray in a preheated oven to crisp the skin up and heat it all the way through, serve with a generous helping of British Larder Made Gravy on freshly prepared parsnip mash and steamed greens.
