The Seafield Herd

Suffolk Red Poll beef from Simon & Merna Merrett of Church Farm, Hasketon.
The herd live out all year round and eat grass during the summer and haylage and straw (made from Church Farm’s own fields or neighbouring fields in Hasketon) during the winter months.
The cattle do not leave the farm until they are taken to the nearest abattoir. The meat is then delivered to The Wild Meat Company, Blaxhall where it hangs for up to 28 days and then butchered to the Merrett’s own specifications.
Simon and Merna hope and aim to provide you with beef of the finest quality, succulent and full of flavour.
