James Foskett Farms

James Foskett Farms Ltd is a well established family Farming Business based in Bromeswell near Woodbridge in East Suffolk where it has been growing crops in the Deben Valley for over 50 years.
Potatoes are the most important crop to the business with onions not far behind. Other crops include sugar beet, brassica’s, cereals and organic vegetables.
The organic vegetable production was started in 2009 after two years of land conversion. James Foskett Farms have a good range of crops to give a sensible rotation which is essential in organic and all other crop production. Crops include Potatoes, onions, green beans, vining pea's, carrots, sweet corn, butternut squash, broccoli, Savoy’s, cauliflowers and sprouts.
James Foskett Farms are very conscious of the environment and have been proud to have been members of the countryside stewardship scheme for the last ten years. They are currently looking to join the Higher Level Environmental Stewardship scheme in the future. Nineteen percent of their own farm is uncropped and has a huge variety of wildlife, especially as we are in a river valley with reed beds and other favorable habitats.
