At Middleton Farm Shop, Jack Rosenthal and the Good Food Growers are famous mainly for their asparagus and blueberries. Jack's own crops of soft fruit and vegetables are chosen from varieties with the finest flavour, grown with very little artificial input, allowed to fully ripen on the bush and sold with minimum packaging. Jack is dedicated to growing and selling good food: making available to the public food with that elusive ‘fresh-from-the-garden’ taste that is rarely found in the supermarkets because of their long chains of supply and their insistence on cosmetic perfection.
